La Casa del Parque Hostel, Hotel, and Apartments are located on the eastern central side of San Jose, in Barrio California. Directly across the street from the city's leafy national park the hostel and apartments have the benefit of a borrowed backyard, while the hotel, with a grand tropical garden within it's grounds, comes with a fantastic view over the city.
The area of Barrio California has many important historical buildings, including the National Museum, government buildings, the Green Fair of Aranjuez (organic farmers' market) and heritage listed homes. It is also a popular area for nightlife activities and there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants literally around the corner.
Also located very close to the central avenue of San Jose, it's extremely easy to follow the pedestrian street into the heart of San Jose.
